The LDC Hotels & Resorts group has recently redesigned its corporate philosophy by promoting the LDC Go Green project, which fosters an eco-friendly and sustainable culture. In our hotel we minimize all waste and reduce the use of plastic, metals and chemical detergents, in favor of ecological, recyclable or completely biodegradable products.
Every day SMALL steps to make BIG CHANGES.

By skipping the room cleaning, we will save up to 10 million liters of water and 6,000 liters of cleaning agents. Per year! We might re-invest all the money saved in new climate-smart initiatives. For every saved room cleaning, you will also receive a 15 eur voucher to be used for some of our hotel facilities. This important initiative recently implemented in our hotel is all about the collaboration we can have with you as our guest to make a difference.

Recycling in Rome
Recycling means making rubbish into something new. Every time we throw something away, it is important to choose the right waste bin. Both locals and tourists have a key role to keep Rome’s streets, parks and monuments preserved and cleaned. Here below you will find a guide about recycling in Rome:

The first steps toward our green philosophy are visible in the rooms. Plastic bottles have been removed and replaced by glass bottles. You can refill your bottles at the cold and room temperature natural water dispensers on the floor.
When in downtown Rome, stop at the “Nasone” typical Roman drinking fountain, say “Ave” and refill your bottle for free. If you want “un altro goccio”, you will find plenty of them along the way. You might also come across the green Casa dell’Acqua kiosk, a “Nasone hi-tech” with recharging points for telephones and mobile devices and with touch-screen tourist information.
